Considering how poor the implementation of some Microsoft apps’ features was in the past, I was almost sure this wouldn’t work, but I was pleasantly surprised. The ability to view tasks with certain tags is powered by the search feature, so you can even search for tags with multiple tags if you want. When you click on a tag from a note, it will take you a search page where you can see all the other tasks with the same tag. There doesn’t seem to be a way of seeing all the different tags you have, though. These tags can be added right to the title of your task, or in the description of the tasks which is pretty neat. But the new tagging feature is supposed to organize tasks from different lists into different types of tasks. Of course, you can already create lists within the app to organize your different tasks into different lists. Tagging support is meant to help you better organize your tasks. And now, Microsoft is adding support for tagging to the app. The app picked up a new dark theme, list sharing, steps, and other features across all platforms as part of the latest set of updates. Microsoft’s To-Do app has been getting a lot of new features after the lack of updates for a long period.
